The Alliance members aim to influence the policies of businesses and government in the Netherlands through regular contact and feedback on their policies and impact in program countries, and do this together with local organizations in the South. Also, the Alliance exerts influence on European and global governments through its European and international networks, such as the ACT Alliance, Concord, International Trade Union Confederation, Global Campaign for Education, World Council of Churches, ILO Global Business and Disability Network, Agriprofocus and the Netherlands Working Group on International Nutrition.
