Donors in the shea sector convened in April to build the necessary synergy of actions and avoid duplication.

The shea sector is becoming more and more important in Benin and fits more in the portfolios of many donors. This donors’ meeting contributed yield for AKB a coherent work plan free of duplication and overlap.

This workshop was followed by another big event: the official launch ceremony of the shea marketing campaign in Benin for the year 2019. It was a solemn occasion that brought together the groups of collectors, processors, industries, donors and the Beninese authorities. It was Thursday, April 18, 2019.
