Sustainalbe Development Goals

Our themes contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular to SDG

  • 2 (zero hunger),
  • 5 (gender equality),
  • 8 (decent work and economic growth),
  • 12 (responsible consumption and production),
  • 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions) and
  • 17 (partnerships for the goals)

We aim for strong connections with local SDG initiatives and national SDG Action Plans. We create linkages with national platforms to monitor SDG progress and using this information to hold governments accountable (for example the ‘Adopteer een SDG’ initiative in the Netherlands).

Knowledge about SDGs and lobby & advocacy for their implementation are integrated in our capacity building activities, such as learning sessions and trainings; we explore the possibility of adding a ‘SDG module’ to the Change the Game Academy.
